Laois hurling teams confirmed for U-20 and Minor double-header in Portlaoise

The U-20's play Kilkenny while the Minors face Kerry
Laois Hire O'Moore Park is set for a busy day of action on Saturday, April 6 as both the Laois U-20 and Minor sides take to the field in the Leinster Championship.
Damien Carter is faced with a tough task in the opening round of the U-20 Championship as his side welcomes Kilkenny from 1pm. Glen McEvoy and his Minor team will take on Kerry from 3pm in a game that's must-win following their first-round loss to Kildare in Hawkfield.
The Laois U-20 will come into the game with some confidence as the lads who played Minor in 2022 famously beat Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final with both sides featuring a lot of those players that were on those panels two years ago.
Jer Quinlan, Cody Comerford and Tom Cuddy have been heavily involved with the Laois Senior team this year. Quinlan and Cuddy started last Sunday's league final against Carlow with the former getting Laois' second goal with a well-taken finish.

Laois v Kilkenny in the U-20 Leinster Championship throws-in at 1pm while Laois v Kerry throws-in at 3pm. Both games are due to be played in Laois Hire O'Moore Park on Saturday, April 6. Tickets for the game can be bought online here while Clubber will be live-streaming both games, details of that can be found here.
