Laois Ladies set to host coaching and development fundraiser at Laois GAA club

There will be a star-studded line-up of coaches for the event
Mountmellick GAA will be the venue for this weekend's Laois LGFA coaching and development fundraiser that the Senior team are hosting.
The Laois Ladies footballers and the Laois U-16 team will be in attendance with the Senior team doing a meet and greet. The U-16's will also get the opportunity to train with the Senior girls and take part in some skills challenges. There'll also be an opportunity to get photographs and autographs.
Pat Critchley, Evan Tully and Steven Poacher will attend the event as guest speakers where they'll be hoping to give the younger stars some advice and inspiration as they look to make their mark and maybe some day play for the Laois Senior team.
Critchley, fresh from his appearance on TG4's Laochra Gael, has a brilliant track record as both a player and a manager. He's Laois' only All-Star hurler as well as having won the Sigerson Cup with Carlow IT. He also guided Scoil Críost Rí to All-Ireland titles in both ladies football and basketball. The Portlaoise native is a former manager of the Ladies team too.
Evan Talty has a strong following on Twitter with his page @iGaelicCoach. He is also the current Roscommon U-20 football manager and has previously managed both the Clare and Galway Ladies teams.
Steven Poacher focuses on tactical innovation and transitional play as well as being the current manager of St Mochta's in Louth. He's coached all across Ireland having been manager of the Roscommon and Carlow Senior Men's teams as well as the Down Minor coach.
Tickets for the event can be bought here and they cost €20 for adults and €10 for U-16s.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 11 in Mountmellick GAA from 10am to 1pm.
