Laois County Council promised to fix a road that runs to the Offaly border at a recent meeting.
Cllr Seamus McDonald, Fianna Fáil, asked the council to repair the road at Seskin, Cadamstown.
Edmond Kenny, District Engineer, replied in writing to the motion at the meeting held on June 29.
“Road Maintenance crews will undertake road repairs this week in the townlands of Ballynahown/ Garryhedder,” he said.
The issue was raised at the recent Borris-in-Ossory Mountmellick Mountmellick Municipal District meeting.
