Meet Portarlington's Dr Sumi Dunne in Mountmellick school
RTÉ's Operation Transformation Doc is coming to Mountmellick this month to advise local woman on their health in a free talk.
From puberty and contraception to menopause, HRT and beyond, Laois GP Dr Sumi Dunne from Portarlington will give expert medical advice and answer questions, at an event hosted by Mountmellick Community School.
The school in the town's centre is hosting a Women's Health and Wellness Seminar and Coffee Morning, on Wednesday morning, May 17.
The wider community is invited along.
"We’re living in a time where everyone is busy. Why not take some time out and attend the seminar with Dr Sumi that promises to be informative and helpful for women and their health. Dr Sumi is a Laois woman and well known for her appearance on RTE.
"All parents, grandparents, students, staff and the wider local community are welcome," they say.
The talk will end with a Question and Answer session
It is supported by the school's Home School Community Liaison team.
The seminar takes place on Wednesday, May 17 at 11.30am in the secondary school.
