Lost and Found veteran says people should consider Electric Picnic lockers

The Lost and Found co-ordinator urged people to be vigilant after a suspected theft from a campsite
The co-ordinator of Lost and Found at Electric Picnic is advising people to consider using lockers to secure their belongings.
Carmel Farrell issued the advice not long after warning about a suspected theft from a camp site at the festival. She posted about the theft after she had been approached by a festival goer who told her their coat had been stolen.
Carmel said there are lockers available on site if people need to securely store valuables. The Lost and Found veteran said these could be particularly useful for people looking to secure their car keys over the weekend.
Having worked at the Lost and Found for over a decade, Carmel has seen first hand how problematic lost car keys can be for festival attendees.
According to the Electric Picnic website, “lockers will be available for storing your valuables all weekend in the Jimi Hendrix campsite. We recommend valuables such as wallets, IDs, cameras etc are kept in lockers for extra security. Storage boxes are perfect for storing larger items such as alcohol, etc. If it fits in, they will store it! Book your locker in advance to avoid disappointment!”
Lost and Found is located at the Jimi Hendrix Arena Entrance and will be available throughout the show.
It opens from 6pm to midnight tonight and from 9am to midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Lost and Found will be open at Electric Picnic on Monday from 9am to 4pm. It will then move to the Stradbally Steam Museum at The Green, Stradbally (R32 YT65) from Tuesday next week.
