Recognition for Laois woman behind Rosenallis AFC underage teams' formation

Siobhan Murphy, a driving force behind underage football in Rosenallis, was recognised recently for her remarkable contribution to the sport. Midlands Schoolboys and Schoolgirls League Secretary Derek Collins presented her with an award, acknowledging her tireless efforts to get Rosenallis AFC’s underage teams up and running in recent years.

Starting with just one team, Siobhan has worked relentlessly to build the club’s underage system, which now continues to grow each year.

This season marks a major milestone with the formation of Rosenallis AFC’s first girls’ team, reflecting the growing interest and commitment to youth football in the community.
