Tough lesson for midlands learner driver

A motorist is facing a court appearance and a hefty financial loss after a recent crash in the midlands.

An image of the collision was used by Gardai as a warning for motorists to take care on the roads.

“Delvin Roads Policing Unit in Co. Westmeath responded to this road traffic collision recently."

"An unaccompanied learner driver had only bought the car a few hours beforehand and had no insurance,” Gardai said on social  media.

They said the driver now faces a court appearance.
