Two hour free parking on Saturday in Laois towns for December

A number of towns around Laois will offer free two hour parking every Saturday in the run up to Christmas.

“Laois County Council, to support shopping local, will provide 2-hours free parking every Saturday in December in Portlaoise, Mountmellick and Portarlington in the run up to Christmas,” Laois County Council stated on their website.

“This relates to parking charges only as the council will continue to enforce illegal parking on double yellow lines, footpaths, loading bays and disabled bays,” the council added.
