WATCH: Laois school's uplifting version of John Lennon's 'Imagine'

The students and staff of a Laois secondary school have come together to sing the song Imagine by John Lennon to promote peace and prosperity around the world.
St Mary’s CBS Portlaoise lads are featured in this music video packing dozens of donated supplies into three lorries driven by Martley’s Transport Portlaoise to the Ukraine border earlier this week.
Many Portlaoise groups and schools under the leadership of Eimear Lewens gave donations for shipment to Ukraine.
The convoy was waved off on its long journey last Monday.
The lorry convoy is currently travelling through Europe, on its way to the border of Ukraine, with the hundreds of donated supplies to aid those affected by the war.
This rendition of Imagine is being released to promote Multicultural & Anti-Racism Week at St Mary’s CBS.
All students’ 45 nationalities are celebrated and united with pride and the song expresses that message of unity.
Multicultural Week is organised by CBS teachers Conor Ryan, Martina Murphy and the Multicultural Committee.
The celebrations included guest speakers from Laois Integration Network, Laois Partnership, An Garda Siochana and a food tasting experience for every year group.
The song was recorded and arranged by teacher Mairead Carroll with instrumentals and vocals by Matthew O’Rourke, Antoni Calka, Karl Mulligan, Mr. Ruairi Tierney, Nirmala Conlon, Richard Doyle, Emily Barrett, Prosper Alonzo, Conor Ryan, Yvonne Eglington, Dinny Whelan, Adam Raji, Evelyn Quinlan and Evidence Onyebuchi.
It is opened by Elaine Deegan with a special thanks to Devin Walsh and Aaron O’Connor for all their
help. The school also thanks Jim from Hughes Pharmacy, Mark Martley, Portlaoise Stone and everyone in the local community who supports St Mary’s CBS.
