Timahoe community pulled together in aid of autism charity

A Laois village has literally pulled together to raise almost €1,400 for Laois Offaly Families For Autism (LOFFA).

The Tower Inn put up a challenge to the people in Timahoe young and old to pull not only a truck and lowloader but the added weight of a bulldozer. Over 100 men, women and children managed to pull off the feat, hauling 85 tonnes a distance of 20 feet on Sunday, May 26.
