A motorist who came to Garda attention because he had no tax and was found to have drugs in his system has been banned for one year.

Mr O'Leary was directed to undergo a roadside oral fluid drug test which came back positive.

The defendant was subsequently arrested and he provided a blood specimen which was also positive.
