A Co Westmeath man charged with allegedly recklessly discharging a firearm outside a north Longford pub earlier this year has succeeded in getting parts of his bail conditions amended.

Jason Murray (20), Barradrum, Streete, Rathowen, Co Westmeath is charged with recklessly discharging a firearm at Glenmore, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford on February 10, 2023.

A second charge of alleged damage being caused to a blue VW Polo is also before the courts.

An application to vary or alter a curfew attached to the man's bail terms were agreed at last week's sitting of Longford District Court.

He is due to appear back before a sitting of Longford District Court on July 4.
