Longford senior football manager Paddy Christie will have to plan without regular defender Iarla O’Sullivan who suffered a serious injury in the National League Division 4 first round clash against Laois at O’Moore Park on Saturday evening last.

Rathcline clubman Iarla is believed to have broken a bone in his leg and was replaced by Killoe’s Liam Hughes in the closing stages of the game which ended in a two-point defeat for Longford.
