The two solely Junior clubs in the 2023 Junior ‘A’ Football Championship are Ballymore and Legan Sarsfields who clashed in a cracking 2021 county title decider.

Ballymore also had to settle for second best in last year’s final against Grattans but will the north Longford club be crowned county Junior champions this season?

The top three teams in the round-robin group stage will qualify for the semi-finals and will be joined in the last four by the Junior ‘B’ champions. There is also a separate Junior ‘C’ competition.
