Longford Scuba Divers marked the retirement of Finbar Holmes who spent almost 30 years with the club.
County Longford Scuba Divers recently came together to celebrate member Finbar Holmes on his retirement after almost 30 years with the club.
During his time with the County Longford Scuba Divers, Finbar served as a diver, cox’n, and was a valuable member of the club’s Search & Recovery team.
He also organised diving trips and was involved in the social side of the club.
Members and friends alike gathered at Keenan’s in Tarmonbarry recently for an evening of stories and memories from Finbar’s years of scuba diving.
As a token of appreciation, Finbar was presented with touching mementos including a plaque and a photo album containing memories from his time with the club.
