Members of the Longford and Drumlish Men’s Sheds, alongside family and friends, gathered at the Marquee in Drumlish recently to celebrate social interaction through music and food.

Breda Murphy explained, “The idea was to bring everyone together for social interaction, having them engage more. In hindsight, they operate in their very own bubble. What they were trying to do was to socialise. Everything boils down to a sense of community, and there is no better way to do it than through music. The men provided the entertainment for the event.”

Thanking Fr Manning Gaels for their support, Breda added, “It was an afternoon to create connections, build friendships and strengthen the community spirit through music and creativity.”
