Longford courier company lodges plans for town centre warehouse

Longford courier company Donlon Couriers has lodged plans for a new warehouse in the town centre.

It is understood that the proposed development, which is planned for Little Water Street in Longford town, will involve the construction of a new warehouse unit adjoining Donlon Couriers’ existing premises.

It will also involve extensions to the front and side of their existing office building as well as associated ancillary works.

The proposed development would be used in connection with the company’s existing warehousing business.

The name of the company director was listed on the application is Mark Donlon.

Longford County Council is due to return with a decision by September 23.
