Longford Dog Pound on a mission to find 'Marvellous Max' his forever home
Max, a “marvellous” teenage German Shepherd, is currently in the care of Longford Dog Pound.
A fresh appeal has been made to find the right home for Max, a “marvellous” teenage German Shepherd currently in the care of Longford Dog Pound.
Staff at the pound have described him as a wonderful dog but as he has had little training or experience with boundaries during his young life, he can be loud and boisterous. As a result, those caring for him say he will need an experienced owner who understands the needs of a young German Shepherd.
There are however many positive and encouraging signs as Max has been responding very well to the training he is receiving from staff at the pound.
The team is now hoping that an experienced dog owner, or perhaps a suitable rescue organisation, will come forward to give Max the chance of a fresh start.
