Longford man charged with assaulting three gardaí due to reappear in court in June

A Longford man charged with assaulting three Gardaí during an alleged shooting incident in Edgeworthstown in February is due to reappear in court in June.

Darren Dowler (32), with an address at 70 Abhainn Glas, Edgeworthstown, appeared on Tuesday, April 16 before Judge Bernadette Owens at Longford District Court.

Mr Dowler was remanded on continuing bail to June 18, when DPP directions are expected to be ready.
