Longford man pleads guilty to threatening to kill
A man is to reappear before Longford Circuit Court later this month, when he will be sentenced for assault and threatening to kill.
Ariel Saavedra, with an address at 3 Sliabh Rua, Drumlish, Co Longford, appeared in court last Friday, where he entered a plea of guilty to a charge of section three assault on October 16, 2021.
He also pleaded guilty to threatening to kill his partner on the same date and producing an ice pick in the course of committing the assault.
Mr Saavedra has been remanded on continuing bail and will reappear on January 24, when he will be sentenced.
