Man arrested in connection with human trafficking to appear before Longford district court
As part of the ongoing investigations into Human Trafficking and related criminal activity, Gardaí at Mullingar conducted a search and arrest operation in County Galway on Monday, November 28.
In the course of the operation man in his 30s was arrested and he was detained at Mullingar Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996.
The man was subsequently charged and he will appear before Longford District Court at 10:30am this morning Tuesday, November 29.
