Preparations underway for Longford Family Fest
Longford Family Fest kicks off today Thursday July 23 with live music from 5:30 and will continue tomorrow with a market and even more music
It’s all go in Longford town’s Market Square today as the main stage is erected for the inaugural Longford Family Fest.

With the stage now up thanks to stage constructor Shane Ryan and festival founder Cllr Niall Gannon, it’s all set for the acts that will be entertaining the crowds from 5:30 onwards this evening.

Tomorrow, Friday July 24, at 1:30pm the town square will be transformed into a market with plenty of stalls selling food, art, crafts, artisan products and much more.

There will also be street artists, children’s activities, face painting and circus classes.

A circus show for children can also be enjoyed at 3pm. This too will be taking place at the main stage in Market Square.
The music will kick off again from 5.30pm with lots of lively acts to entertain festival goers.
