Medals and coins are a meaningful acknowledgement of the contributions of Gardaí and Garda staff, both past and present
In 2022, An Garda Síochána marked the centenary of its foundation.
As part of the commemorations, a commemorative medal was presented to serving and retired Gardaí and Garda staff and student Gardaí received commemorative coins. Families of deceased Gardaí also received medals or coins in recognition of their loved ones’ service.
These medals and coins are a meaningful acknowledgement of the contributions of Gardaí and Garda staff, both past and present and are cherished by many recipients.
To date, [email protected] mailbox has received numerous requests for medals and coins from those who may have missed their presentation ceremonies, including retired Gardaí and families of the deceased.
A limited number of medals and coins are still available. If you have not received yours, please send any enquires to [email protected] before August 27, 2024. Allocations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
