Saving lives! Longford Community Safety Partnership provides funding for new Granard defibrillator

Work is underway to set up a first responders group in the Granard area
Longford Community Safety Partnership recently provided funding for a replacement defibrillator at Granard Garda Station after the previous one became obsolete.
This defibrillator is available to the community should the need arise. It is currently stored in the public office, which is open 24/7.
Expressing thanks, An Garda Síochána Longford posted on the Facebook page: "Please God it will never be needed, but we are so glad to have one for emergencies.
