This has been an ongoing goal after discovering the condition of the N4 Axis defibrillator

The Longford Defibrillator Group launched their first defibrillator on Saturday, February 14 at Mollaghan's furniture store. This has been a long-term effort by Darren Mulleady back in October, 2025. Upon finding a defibrillator in the N4 Axis that was not in good condition, a committee announced an official committee in December, 2025.

Over the weekend, the new group was proud to launch its first new defibrillator, with the hopes to raise funds and awareness to buy more defibrillators for Longford town.
