Caitlin - who is sister to Philip and daughter of Linda and the late Andy Lowry - devotes her time to a Sepsis Awareness charity, ‘Shine A Light On Sepsis’, which she co-founded after she sadly lost her father Andy to the condition last year.

On the night of the pageant, Caitlin had with her a beautiful framed photo of her beloved dad. placeholder image

During the sports round of contest, Caitlin wore the Longford colours, proudly holding up the county scarf on stage.

Today, Wednesday May 6, the highly impressive young Leaving Cert student headed back up to Dublin, this time to Leinster House, where she is hoping to bring more visibility to her family's sepsis awareness campaign.
