Ann O'Leary, a lady with great community spirit and duty, turned Longford Blue for Autism Awareness Day recently in aid of St Christopher’s Special School.
Lots of people helped her with bucket collection.
You may have seen some of them in town and the special help of the four legged kind alongside owner Trish Gervasoni at the shop in Grafton Court, Longford Town.
Ann is a great example to all, I have known her for years, working for the same cause every year and all year round raising awareness.
It takes a lot of time and dedication and organisation, anyone doing similar charitable drives will tell you.
