UPDATE: Most Longford regional roads passable as council crews continue massive Storm Éowyn clean up

A lot of local roads are closed and mobile phone coverage continues to be a major issue

Roads crews have been working since first light clearing fallen trees and debris from roads, with all National Roads passable since early afternoon yesterday, Friday, 24 January.

The R397 near Kenagh is currently open but will be closed later today for a short duration to facilitate ESB works.
