Autumn comes to life in Roscrea display
The stunning display is open to the public at Roscrea Credit Union
Roscrea’s Premier Credit Union branch are delighted to welcome a spectacular autumnal floral display showcasing the creativity and talents of local students from Tipperary ETB’s Retail Display Floristry course.
The colourful exhibition, which features an impressive collection of autumn inspired floral arrangements, seasonal decorations and Halloween-themed displays, was created by students under the guidance of their tutor, Jean Slattery O’Gorman.
The display has transformed part of the credit union’s premises on Main Street, Roscrea, into a wonderful celebration of autumn, featuring an array of flowers, foliage, pumpkins and imaginative seasonal creations.
The exhibition is open to the public until November 13 and everyone is warmly invited to call in and enjoy the talented students’ work.
Speaking at the exhibition, Brian King, CEO of Premier Credit Union, praised the students and their tutor for their creativity and commitment: “We are absolutely delighted to host this wonderful display here in our Roscrea branch. The standard of work is exceptional, and it is a real credit to the students and to Jean for the time, imagination and effort that have gone into creating something so special.
"At Premier Credit Union, we place great importance on supporting our local communities, and that includes providing opportunities for local groups and students to showcase their talents. This is a lovely example of how we can work together to bring something positive and enjoyable to the wider community.
"I would encourage everyone in Roscrea and the surrounding areas to call in over the coming weeks and see the display for themselves. The photographs are lovely, but you really need to see it in person to appreciate the detail and creativity involved.”
Jean Slattery O’Gorman, tutor with Tipperary ETB, expressed her appreciation to Premier Credit Union for providing the students with an opportunity to exhibit their work:
“This has been a fantastic project for our students, giving them the opportunity to put their skills, creativity and learning into practice in a real public setting.
"They have put tremendous effort into designing and creating the various arrangements, and it is wonderful to see their work brought together.”
