Bright future ahead for Offaly's Caitlin as she scoops national music award

OFFALY'S Caitlin Hynes, a Midland Drama Schools drama and singing student, has been awarded the runner up prize in the music category of the Leinster School of Music Griffith College Dublin National Awards for Excellence .

This award recognition is highly sought after and is very competitive as  nominees and winners are selected by rigorous rounds of adjudication by Leinster School of Music and Griffith College adjudicators.

Winners are then selected from all the exam students who participate in music, drama and singing throughout Ireland which brings the selection process to an even higher standard.

Midland Drama School Director and teacher Lorraine Wynne commented: “We are thrilled for Caitlin as she is very hard working and a talented young girl with a very bright future ahead.”
