Busy road in Tullamore to close in latest phase of works on bridge

A road in Tullamore will close next week as part of the latest phase of works on a busy bridge in the town. 

Cox's Bridge on the R420 at the top of Kilbride Street will be closed intermittently from Monday, November 10 for a week. 

It is closing to allow for the resurfacing of the road and accommodation works. 

A series of works have already taken place in the vicinity of the bridge at the top of Pearse Park and O'Molloy Street and on Kilbride Street. 

Offaly County Council says it regrets any inconvenience caused.
