Cock a Doodle Doo you know the famous face pictured with these Offaly students?
He was 'chicken' out their project at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition
Offaly students were very much to the fore at the BT Young Scientist winning a number of awards at the prestigious event in the RDS.
There were many high profile visitors at the event and one really got into the spirit of it when he visited the students from St Brendan's Community School in Birr.
'Chicken Talk', the project from André Mulcahy Viegas, Alex Loughnane and Alfie McGrath, St Brendan's Community School, Birr, and 'Little Steps: Understanding height and growth differences' won a Display Award.
The Birr students' project examined the effect of different chicken feeds on hens and their egg output and quality.
And Tanaiste Micheal Martin visited the lads stand and donned the chicken mask and we'll leave the captions up to you!!!
