Communications company planning to construct two telecommunications towers in Tullamore

A communications company is planning to construct two new telecommunications towers in Tullamore. 

Eircom is planning to construct the towers at separate ends of the town. 

The company intend to apply for planning permission for one development at Eir ADH on the Spollanstown Industrial Estate. The proposed development is for the installation of a 21 metres lattice telecommunications support structure carrying antennas, dish, remote radio units, GPS together with ground-based equipment including fencing, cabinets and a concrete plinth.

The second development is planned for Tullamore Sports Link on the Arden Road.  The proposed development is for the installation of an 18 metres monopole telecommunications structure carrying antennas, a dish, remote radio units, GPS, together

with a gate, fencing and cabinets. 

Both planning applications are set to be lodged with Offaly County Council.
