Details of road closures for Tullamore St Patrick's Day Parade announced

Details have been announced for road closures for Tullamore for St Patrick's Day to facilitate the parade in the town. 

The Tullamore parade is on Friday, March 17 starting at 11.30 a.m. The assembly point is the car park of the Bridge Centre and entries should be there by 11.00 a.m.

The following roads will be closed from 10.30am till 3pm on March 17

• High Street, Bridge Street, Columcille Street, Arden Road from Kilbeggan Bridge to the junction with Collins Lane (R421).

• Harbour Street to the junction with Chapel Street (R420).

• Patrick Street from the Garda Station to Columcille Street junction.

• Church Street from junction with Columcille Street to Market Lane.

• Tanyard to O’ Connor Square.

The road closure is necessary to facilitate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Diversion routes will be in place. 

The Theme this year is “TIDY TOWNS-OUR COMMUNITY EFFORT. IS FEIDIR LINN LE CHEILE” The Tidy Towns Committee do fantastic work in making Tullamore look its very best. Tullamore is close to winning a National Award and with some help from the whole community this can be achieved.
