Gardaí renew appeal over teenage boy missing in the Midlands for a week

Lorcan Meehan, who was last seen in Portlaoise on Tuesday, August 13, may be in Dublin
Laois gardaí are renewing their appeal for help in tracing a missing teenage boy.
17-year-old Lorcan Meehan was reported missing from Portlaoise on the morning of Tuesday, August 13 at approximately 11.40am.
Lorcan is described as being 5'1 with a slim build. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.
When last seen, Lorcan was wearing grey jogger pants, a black jacket and has a black backpack with him.
It is believed that Lorcan may have travelled to the Park West area of Dublin.
