Gardaí seize motorcycle in Roscrea after observing rider in shorts and t-shirt

The Gardaí are also warning motorists not to abuse parking spaces designated for blue badge holders
Tipperary Roads Policing motorcycle unit spotted this fellow biker in Roscrea on Monday and observed they were “poorly dressed for the occasion, wearing a pair of shorts and t-shirt”.
The Gardaí pulled over the motorcyclist to discuss their PPE and discovered the rider never held a licence for a motorcycle and had no insurance.
As a result the motorcycle was seized and the rider is due to appear in court.
Over the weekend the Roads Policing Unit was on duty in Thurles and observed a van parked in a bay designated for disabled drivers.
"We are constantly monitoring disabled bays throughout the county", the Gardaí warned anyone thinking of abusing the special parking spaces.
“'I was just doing a delivery'” isn’t an excuse. Please respect disabled bays and keep them free for Blue badge holders", the Gardaí said.
