A new funeral parlour in the centre of Tullamore has been given the green light by Offaly County Council.
After initialling looking for further information after concerns were raised over parking in the area, the council has now given the go ahead to the plans with eight conditions attached.
PJ Lambe, David Lambe and Edel Kenny lodged the planning application to change the use of an existing commercial unit on Main Street, Tullamore into a funeral parlour but those plans are on hold as Offaly County Council has sought further information before making a decision.
