It's party time this weekend in this village in Offaly

IT's party time this weekend in a picturesque Offaly village nestling in the foothills of the Slieve Blooms.

Part goers gather in the Ard Aoibhinn complex in Mountbolus on this Sunday evening for their annual get together.

Events kick off at 6pm and a great evening of music and refreshments is promised.

A host of musicians – including Ballincanty's Johnny Butterfield – will entertain the crowd at what promises to be a mighty occasion.
