Memorial walk for charity to remember Offaly mental health champion

Annual James O'Connor Memorial Walk to take place at Tullamore Harriers
THE 2nd Annual James O’ Connor Memorial Walk will this Friday, October 4 between 5pm to 10pm in Tullamore Harriers.
ACT (Accessible Counselling) are asking that people come along and walk with them anytime between 5pm and 10pm for as little or as long as they can, to remember their great founder and friend James O’ Connor who passed away on St. Patrick’s Day last year.
James was a highly respected business man and a proud mental health advocate who helped a lot of people through the setting up of ACT in January 2020.
This is a family friendly event with live music, face painting and food & drink vendors. There will be free goody bags for kids. Pets are welcome.
ACT hopes this will be a real community event to honour a man who gave so much to people of Offaly and the wider Midlands.
ACT is a registered charity and not-for-profit community counselling centre that offers accessible, affordable and timely counselling to people aged 16 and up from all across the Midlands. To date has seen over 2,285 clients and provided over 10,000 counselling sessions.
This is a free event but donations are welcome on the night or online via:
