New facility in park in Tullamore to be setting for Easter Sunday sunrise service

Everyone is welcome from all churches and backgrounds, including children and families, and there will be an Easter trail for the children to take part in at the end of the service
The newly-opened bandstand in Tullamore Town Park will be the location for a new event this coming Easter Sunday, as Tullamore Presbyterian Church holds an Easter Sunrise Service for the first time at 7.30am on Sunday, March 31.
The Gospels tell us that the first witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection went to the tomb in the garden, “very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise” and it is the tradition of many churches and communities to hold a service early on Easter morning.
The new bandstand provides the perfect venue, in a garden setting, and offering some shelter from the weather for those taking part in the service. It will include singing, prayers, bible readings and a short talk.
Everyone is welcome from all churches and backgrounds, including children and families, and there will be an Easter trail for the children to take part in at the end of the service.
Cooked breakfast will be served in the Presbyterian hall nearby afterwards. If you would like to attend it would be helpful for catering purposes if you can text 085 147 6929 to let us know numbers.
