Offaly Senior Football team named for crucial clash with Kildare

The Offaly Senior Football team has been named for Sunday's crucial Allianz Football League Division 3 clash with Kildare in O'Connor Park.

There is a chance Offaly could secure promotion this Sunday but Laois and Clare would need to draw in their game on Saturday to set up that opportunity.

Offaly and Kildare are on top of the table with eight points, two clear of Laois and Clare.

Offaly joint managers Declan Kelly and Mickey Harte have named the same starting 15 that started in the tougher than expected win over Leitrim in the last round.

The Offaly team for Sunday's game that throws in at 2pm is as follows:

Paddy Dunican (Shamrocks);

Lee Pearson (Edenderry)

Aidan Bracken (Ballycommon)

Daire McDaid (Tullamore)

Rory Egan (Edenderry)

John Furlong (Tullamore)

Cormac Egan (Tullamore)

Jack McEvoy (Clonbullogue)

Jordan Hayes (Edenderry)

Kyle Higgins (Ferbane)

Cathal Flynn (Ferbane)
