Organisers cancel Sean Ross Abbey commemoration event

THE organisers of the annual commemoration event at the Angel's Plot burial site at the former Mother and Baby Home at Sean Ross Abbey have announced they have cancelled this year's event.

The 'We Are Still Here' survivors group who organise the annual commemoration which draws visitors from the UK, US and around Ireland, said they are forced to cancel the commemoration due to works at the St. Anne's campus where Sean Ross Abbey and the burial ground is located.
