– Ross Ravenhill - The Offaly half back line was tested to the full as Waterford ran at them. Ross Ravenhill made a couple of mistakes but kept working and made his physical presence count. - Rating – 6.

– Donal Shirley - Donal Shirley has had an excellent league campaign and has shown his quality and potential by filling one of the big positions at centre half back. He was always going to get fully tested at some stage in the top tier and outstanding Waterford centre forward Jamie Barron certainly did that. Shirley worked honesty, cleared some good ball before being replaced in the 52nd minute and will learn a lot from this game. - Rating – 6.
.
– Jason Sampson - Jason Sampson was one of the few Offaly players who played consistently well for the most part, even when they were on the back foot for long periods. He was good on the ball and made a few blocks and hooks. Rating – 8.

– Colin Spain - Colin Spain got one good point on a day when the ball didn't flow for him, Waterford were on top all over the field and he found it difficult to get into the game. - Rating – 6.
