Proceeds of 'Christmas Unwrapped 'concert presented to two charities

Two cheques, the proceeds of a Christmas concert performed by Tullamore Stage School were recently presented to Offaly Domestic Violence Support Services and Tullamore Parish Support Services.

The very enjoyable 'Christmas Unwrapped' concert  under the direction of Regina McCarthy, took place in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore on December 20 and was extremely well attended.

Featuring the Tullamore Stage School's Youth Choir, Chamber Orchestra and the Ladies Choir, the audience were enthralled with the level of talent on display.

The Ladies Choir is relatively new and has 70 members spanning all ages.

Regina McCarthy was previously director of the award winning Sacred Heart School choir. She now dedicates her time to her Tullamore Stage School and has been praised for her enormous contribution to music and the arts in Tullamore and beyond.
