REVEALED: Number of social housing offers refused in Offaly

The number of social housing offers that were refused in Offaly over a three month period in 2023 has been revealed.

Nine social housing applicants refused offers made to them by Offaly County Council between May 1 and August 31 in 2023

More than half of those people gave undisclosed reasons for their refusals, while other reasons cited included 'unsuitable property for applicants needs' and 'applicant secured alternative housing'.
