The Hooves 4 Hospice campaign is raising funds for the development of a Midlands regional hospice to serve the four Midland counties and neighbouring areas including north Tipperary.

The new development, which secured substantial Government funding over the past year, is to be constructed on the site of the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

It has the backing of hospice groups in Offaly, Laois, Westmeath and Longford together with Lions clubs in the four counties.
