Temporary closure of bridge on busy road in Offaly county town

Survey works being carried out from Friday morning near Tullamore rugby club

A BUSY bridge in Tullamore will close tomorrow morning (Friday, February 28).

Offaly County Council has announced the temporary closure of Spollanstown Road Bridge (L-20074-2) from 9am on Friday morning until 7am on Saturday morning (March 1).

The road between Tullamore Rugby Club and the Tullamore Court Hotel will be closed apart from traffic requiring local access and diversions will be in place.

The council says the closure is to facilitate bridge survey works.
