Two heart saver AED courses to be delivered by community group in Offaly town

Daingean Community Defibrillator Group will be delivering two heart saver AED courses certified by the Irish Heart Foundation in Daingean Town Hall on Saturday, May 23 and Wednesday, May 27 from 9.30- 1pm

It covers adult, child and infant CPR ,how to use an AED and relief of choking

Refresher training will take place Wednesday night, May 27, 7-8pm, (15mins per person for anyone who has done CPR in past two years).

The skills are easy to learn and they could help save the life of a loved one.

The organisers would like to thank Bord na Mona and Tullamore Credit Union for grants received. The money keeps the defibrillators in good working order and helps us purchase training materials for all courses delivered. It also helped us purchase T shirts and jackets for the first responders.
