A WOMAN who drove her car into a garden had previously been disqualified from driving, the local court heard last week.

Sgt James O'Sullivan said that on August 21, 2021 a man had woken up to find his fence had been damaged. Then he saw a vehicle in the neighbour's garden,

Gardai called to Klaudia Zwolinska, (22), Killane Court, Edenderry, who admitted to the offence and also that she was driving a dangerously defective vehicle.

The front tyres were worn down to 0.3mm and the back tyres worn to 0.8mm. This would have prevented the steering and brakes from working properly, Garda Patrick Linnane told the court.

Ms Zwolinska had a previous conviction for failing to provide a sample and had been disqualified for four years in 2021.

Judge Andrew Cody fined the defendant €500 and gave her three months to pay.
