Work on thirty-eight new houses 'flying it' in Offaly and will be allocated before Christmas

CONSTRUCTION work on 38 new local authority houses in Clara "is flying it" and people should be living in them before Christmas.

That's according to Cllr Frank Moran who made his remarks at this month's meeting of Tullamore Municipal District.

The Fianna Fail public representative – who is Cathaoirleach of Tullamore MD – said the contractor should be contacted to remove rocks located in the area.

"They served their purpose in the past and are not needed now," explained Cllr Moran.
